Jean and Jubilee’s first educational wedding-based event, The Wedding
University, took place on Sunday, February 8, 2009, and was a resounding
success in all ways.
The Four Seasons Hotel meeting rooms were filled to capacity with
enthusiastic couples eager to learn about the many aspects of wedding
planning from top wedding professionals. Beginning at 11am and going until
5pm, the students rotated between classes to explore wedding design, wedding
logistics, photography, beauty, fashion, and other important topics. In
addition, they sampled amazing food, from a sushi bar to a prime rib station
to an elaborate dessert buffet ~ all from the creative culinary team at The Four
Seasons Hotel, Silicon Valley. In addition to the classes, there was an
extraordinary decor room featuring four very distinct styles, which provided
the perfect inspiration for couples to brainstorm about their own wedding
style!
There was absolutely no ‘selling’ going on at The Wedding University as
compared to the conventional wedding fairs. It was truly a one-of-a-kind,
classy and fun event. At the end of the day, one lucky couple won the grand
prize ~ a three-night stay at one of The Four Seasons Resorts including Bora
Bora and Lanai!
